Alan Davey was the bass player in Hawkwind, Bedouin and is still the bass player forThe Meads of Asphodel. Best known as the second longest serving member of Hawkwind, joining in 1984 and leaving in June 2007. He had a break from the band between 1996 and 2001

Alan Davey uses, like many previous Hawkwind bassists, including Lemmy, who also uses one in Motörhead, a Rickenbacker bass, in the 4100 series.
