Clint Warwick (born Albert Eccles, 25 June 1940, Birmingham,
England
– died 15
May 2004)
was the original bassist
for the rock
band, The Moody Blues.
The Moody Blues released one album with Warwick on bass, Go
Now - The Moody Blues #1 (a.k.a. The Magnificent Moodies).
The album yielded the hit song, "Go Now", which reached #1 in the UK
and the Top
Ten in the U.S.
Warwick left the band in 1966, and his music career, to become
a carpenter and spend time with his family, and was replaced by John
Lodge, who is still with the band.
He died of liver disease in 2004, at the age of
63.
