Duncan Browne

Duncan Browne (25 March 1947 - 28 May 1993, in England) was a singer-songwriter.

He attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, studying both music theory and drama. He choose to become a musician when in 1967 he met Andrew Loog Oldham, and signed with his Immediate Records label. His debut album, Give Me, Take You was issued in 1968.

Duncan Browne had a big hit in the Netherlands with "Wild Places".

His biggest hit in the UK was the song "Journey", as televised on Top of the Pops in 1972.

Browne died of cancer in 1993, aged 46.
