Biography
Harry Judd was born in Chelmsford, in Essex, England. Judd is
the youngest of three children, he has a brother named Thomas and a
sister named Katherine. As a young boy, he enjoyed playing cricket, and
riding a tractor around the family estate. He was educated at Uppingham
School, the school was also attended by ex-Busted
member Charlie Simpson, now lead
singer with the band Fightstar. Judd's brother,
Thomas, was friends with Charlie Simpson when they attended Uppingham.
Harry Judd has been drumming for four years and he never sings
vocals in McFly, although when on tour he once sang a version of 'Hero'
by Enrique Iglesias. He can be seen
playing the drums in Busted's music video for "Crashed the Wedding"
which was released in October 2003, before Island
began generating the buzz around McFly. His first drum teacher was Nick
Fance. His favourite bands range from The Who
to Dashboard Confessional, The Doors, blink-182, The Used, The
Beatles and Stone Sour, with his all time favourite
song being 'Hey Jude'.
