Johnny Bull: Da Touro

Johnny Bull is the former guitarist and producer of Britpop band Rialto in the late 1990s. He is now an exponent of the retro school of surfing in Portugal and is known locally as Da Touro (Portuguese for The Bull). He is often to be seen cross-stepping his Yater spoon longboard on a big swell. His laid-back style on the board is reminiscent of classic 1960s early surfers. He has recently been co-writing songs with singer-songwriter Lily Allen at his studio in southwest Portugal, one of which, "Friday Night", features on her debut album, Alright Still.
