Christopher James Hardman, is from Lowestoft, England. He
performs under the pseudonym Lil' Chris - a
reference to his slight stature (5 ft 3 in; 160 cm).
Musical career
Chris was on the second series of Gene
Simmons' Rock
School. During the show he met many people, such as Suzie
Quattro, Nigel Butler, and Ray Hedges. He, and the band Gene Simmons
had formed, opened for Judas Priest and Anthrax. Gene
Simmons called the performance "a great opening act." Ray Hedges signed
Chris for a recording contract, and not long
after, Chris started to work on an album. He released his first single "Checkin' It Out" on September
25, 2006,
which reached #3 on the UK chart. On December 4, he released a self-titled
album, which featured 12 tracks and included his debut single (Checkin'
It Out) and Gettin' Enough. He is currently
signed with RCA Records in the UK.
