Career
Paul Hanley was the drummer in The
Fall between 1980 and 1985. For much of that time he was part
of a two-drummer line-up with Karl Burns and also played
keyboards. He was preceded as a member of The Fall by his brother, Steve Hanley, who
remained in the band for a further 18 years. After leaving The Fall,
Paul and Steve formed ARK before moving on to Tom Hingley and the Lovers.
Hingley,
himself, was the erstwhile singer with Manchester
alumni Inspiral Carpets. The
Lovers have released one album, called "Abba
Are The Enemy" and are currently working on a second, "Highlights", it
will be released in late 2007.
Personal life
Paul Hanley is married and has three children.
