Steve Norman

Steve Norman (born 25 March 1960 in London) is a British pop musician who played saxophone, guitar, percussion, and other instruments, for the 1980s New Romantic band, Spandau Ballet. He wrote "Motivator" which appears on Spandau Ballet's Heart Like a Sky (1989) album.

Norman is now a member of the band Cloudfish, which he formed with former Bucks Fizz member Shelley Preston.

In the middle of the American leg of a tour disaster struck. Steve Norman during one of his more flamboyant sax solos decided to do a rock n roll hero slide across the stage in LA. He seriously damaged his right knee joint requiring surgery. The rest of the tour was cancelled.
