Too Much Texas were a band from Oldham, Greater Manchester formed by Inspiral Carpets frontman Tom Hingley in the late eighties. They released one single on uglyman records, later home of I Am Kloot and Elbow. TMT supported the likes of New Order, The House of Love and The Beloved, they released a retrospective record called Juvenilia on Newmemorabilia Records on April 1st 2006. Tom Hingley now fronts Tom Hingley and the Lovers.
